Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team on D12 and C4 Cancer Care as Ward Sister/Charge Nurse. With both Permanent and secondment positions available on D12 and a secondment position on C4.
C4 is a 23 bedded inpatient ward and D12 is a 24 bedded inpatient ward, specialising in a range of oncology treatments, including SACT administration, Radiation treatment and caring for patients with a wider range of conditions during their cancer journey.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking candidate for these roles. Experience of taking charge of an area is essential and SACT administration is desirable. We are looking for a Band 6 nurse to act as a role model with high standards of patient centred care and commitment to improving patient journeys and support flow across the unit.
