We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff / Bar staff to join our vibrant team on a full-time basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing attentive service, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.

Responsibilities

• Taking orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
• Serving food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Assisting with food preparation and setting up bar areas as needed
• Upselling menu items to maximise sales opportunities
• Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
• Managing cash transactions accurately using the POS system
• Providing excellent guest services by addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including tables, bar area, and service stations
• Supporting team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
• Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience can be beneficial in understanding menu offerings and service flow
• Strong organisational skills with good time management to handle multiple tables efficiently
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
• Ability to perform basic maths for billing purposes and cash handling tasks
• Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
