Post graduate Sonographer Trainee post
Here at the Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust an exciting opportunity has arisen for interested professionals (or equivalent suitably qualified persons) to train within Ultrasound imaging.
After a 24 month training period delivered by the Sheffield Hallam University, and practical element supported by The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals, upon successful completion of the training programme, candidates should progress to Sonographer grade.
We require someone who has excellent organisational and Interpersonal skills and who can continuously improve. The successful candidate must be able to provide evidence of either a BSc Radiography or D.C.R. (R), Registered Midwife.

We are a multi-site trust and as part of your role you may be required to work across all sites (Wakefield, Pontefract, Dewsbury and Wakefield ICS community sites) covering Days, Evenings, Bank holidays and Weekends. We offer a regular staff shuttle service between the 3 main sites for staff convenience and ease.
Upon accepting an offer for this post, you will be asked to sign a commitment agreement, as well as your contract of employment. There is a copy of the draft commitment agreement attached in the additional information. Before applying for this role, you should familiarise yourself with the provisions of the agreement and ensure that you are able to meet the commitments outlined in the agreement.
The Mid Yorkshire Trust has excellent travel links to Leeds, Sheffield, Doncaster and Bradford. We are close to both the M1 and the M62.
