Role Description This is a hybrid full-time Trainee Football Intermediary (Agent) role, office based in London. The Trainee will support senior intermediaries/agents in identifying talent, managing player relationships, and assisting with contract and transfer negotiations. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining player databases, preparing reports on potential signings, researching leagues and clubs, and tracking fixtures and player performance. The role involves regular communication with players, families, clubs, and partners, as well as coordinating meetings, calls, and visits. The Trainee will also assist with commercial opportunities for players, support basic administrative tasks, and help ensure all activities comply with relevant football regulations and agency policies.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Football, including leagues, clubs, player pathways, and current trends.
• Interest or foundational knowledge in Sports Management, such as player representation, contracts, and regulatory frameworks.
• Sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to present opportunities clearly and build long-term professional relationships.
• Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, active listening, and maintaining a professional, supportive approach with players and stakeholders.
• Team Leadership potential, with the ability to collaborate, take initiative, and contribute positively to a small, high-performance team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organisation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, in line with match schedules and client needs.
• Proficiency with common office software and willingness to learn agency tools and databases.
• Fluency in English; additional languages relevant to key football markets are an advantage.
• Relevant academic background (e.g., sports management, business, law) or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
