Trader Assistant (on desk) – Credit – Hedge Fund – £120-150k TC Full Time NEW

Our client, a multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund, are looking to hire a Trader Assistant specific to its high performing European credit strategy.

Working in the firm’s boutique London office, the hire will work alongside / sit with the European Head Credit Trader as his sole TA (operations teams sit separate). The remit of the role is markets / portfolio facing and it is broad – for example, each day the hire will book, price and monitor trades, manage execution + act as the escalation point for the global operations team. Project work focused on automation / process improvement is prevalent in the role.

Candidates should have 3-5yrs experience in a trade support / middle office / trader assistant role. We are open to hedge fund and IB profiles. A strong background in fixed income / credit, more specifically loans, is required.

The role is projected to pay a £120-150k TC year one (variable dependant on experience level and individual performance).
