Role: TIG Welder Start Date: Immediate Start Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 Location: Outskirts of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk (own transport required) Pay: -18.00 p/hour (DOE, negotiable based on experience) Contract: Temp to PermOVERTIME REGULARLY AVAILABLE AT ENHANCED RATES OF PAY!We are recruiting a TIG Welder to join a small, specialist engineering firm in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. The company produces high-quality architectural metalwork, working on both bespoke one-off pieces and larger batch orders. This is a hands-on fabrication role requiring a flexible and adaptable approach to varied work.Duties:TIG welding a range of architectural metalwork componentsFabricating and assembling bespoke and batch-produced itemsCutting, grinding, drilling, tapping, bending, and fettling materialsOperating workshop machinery (desirable but not essential)Reading and working from engineering drawingsEnsuring all work meets required quality and finish standardsMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentSkills & Requirements:Proven TIG welding and fabrication experienceAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong all-round metalwork and finishing skillsFlexible approach to varied, custom-based workHigh attention to detail and qualityAble to work independently and as part of a small teamMust have own transport due to rural locationPay & Hours:-18.00 p/hour (depending on experience)Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:0040-hour working weekOvertime available at enhanced ratesTemporary to permanent opportunityPotential pay review after 3 monthsIf you are an experienced TIG Welder looking for a varied and hands-on role within a specialist engineering environment, apply today or contact Brendan @ Prime Appointments for more information. #SUFFOLKTEMP
