Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for providing excellent service. You’ll bring confident written and face‑to‑face communication skills, along with good ICT and numeracy abilities. Sensitivity, professionalism and a commitment to confidentiality are essential, as you will be working with historic and sensitive personal records.

This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys variety, and wants to play an active part in the ongoing modernisation and digitisation of services. You will support Legal and Democratic Services with the management of both historic and current registration records, while developing practical skills across registration duties, records management, customer service and administrative support.

What Will You Study?

All Apprentices will be supported to complete a Level 3 Business & Administration qualification.

This Is a Fixed Term Post For a Two-year Period, Starting In September 2026. You Will Be Paid National Minimum Wage Dependent On Age

Important Eligibility Information

Due to the Apprenticeship entry criteria, we are unable to accept applications from anyone who has already achieved a similar qualification at Level 3 or above in the subject area of the apprenticeship they are applying for.

For Example

If you hold a degree in Civil Engineering, you would not be eligible to apply for a Civil Engineering apprenticeship. However, you would still be welcome to apply for any other apprenticeship pathway.

Applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered.
