Technical Sales Assistant – Carlisle – Pipe and Climate Centre

As a Technical Sales Assistant based in Carlisle, you’ll be responsible for:

• Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Speaking to suppliers to source and get quotes on cost for parts, materials and special order items for customers.
• General administration.

This is a full-time permanent office based role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00 or 08:00 – 17:00 with 1hrs break. No weekend work required.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

• Technical knowledge on Pipe and Climate products or merchant experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• Proven experience in sales or customer service role.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in customer interactions.
• Dependable team player, prepared to support in all areas of the branch with a strong work ethic.
• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
