Teaching & Learning Assistant Full Time

The Governors wish to appoint highly motivated, skilled and enthusiastic Teaching and Learning Assistant to work in our mixed Year 5/Year 6 class from September 2026. Position available will be based at Wessington Primary School but could change in time.

The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday, 9.00am-1pm during term time.

The ability to work in close partnership with the Class Teacher in helping to deliver the Key Stage 2 curriculum is essential.

We require someone who enjoys working with children, has a positive outlook, good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work on their own and as part of a team.

The qualification required is NVQL3 or equivalent in Education/Childcare related subjects and should be related to working with children between the ages of 4 to 11 years.
