About You…
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting vulnerable children and young people to fulfil their potential in life. In this role, you will support teaching and learning, develop resources and provide administrative support, while making a meaningful difference every day. We will support you to be at your best, so that together we can achieve the best outcomes for the children and young people we work with.
You will have recent experience of supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs and using a range of behaviour support strategies. You will be supporting students with both general and specific learning difficulties, including those who are neurodiverse.
A sound understanding of child development and learning processes is key to succeed in this role. Strong organisational skills and a proven ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines will also be essential.

The Virtual School works with a multi-disciplinary team including SEND, schools, colleges, businesses, universities, social workers, personal advisors, parents, guardians and foster carers to support children and young people through school and onto either further education, employment or training.
