It’s imperative that the successful candidate excels in a fast pace, team-oriented environment.In time the candidate will be expected to cross-train on various roles within the Fixed Income team, including CTM & confirmations, as well as any ad hoc tasks required.Position OverviewIdentify and correct booking or feed errors as they occur, recognising the themes and addressing their root causesEnsure trades in back office correctly reflect front office systems, fixing trade or position discrepancies in a timely mannerComplete daily Front Office v Back Office (FOBO) reconciliationsPromptly deal with customer inquiries via phone and email and deliver a world class customer experienceBuild strong relationships with clients, Operations teams and sales/trading, becoming a trusted partnerAssist to cover the Fixed Income Trade Management team across all functions including TM role and ConfirmationsParticipate in projects impacting Fixed Income including new product implementation, new platforms or new regulations where required Identify where processes can be streamlined and automation implementedResponsibility to ensure own documentation and procedures are kept updatedPerform sundry duties as requested by managementOpportunity to train and coach other team membersOther Qualifications/Skills/Experienceexperience in a trade exception management role or Operations functionAbility to maintain high standards in a fast-paced and busy environmentImpeccable analytical skills, recognizing why an issue has occurred and isolating the root causeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organisational and time management skillsTechnical ability preferred, ability to automate/streamline processesWho We AreTD Securities is one of the world’s leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
