Job Role: Supply Chain Coordinator
Our client is a multi-channel sportswear operator, operating a highly successful wholesale and franchise business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and scheduling production and booking factory capacities
- Place Purchase Orders with factories
- Negotiating prices with suppliers and shipping companies
- Build strong relationships with key suppliers, leading weekly check-in meetings and
overseeing production status reports.
- Hold meetings with the sales team to update on status of all the
orders and deliveries, and to ensure launch dates are met
- Work closely with design and product developers to build the critical path and ensure key
dates are met
- Working together with the shipping company to arrange sea freight/air freight
Other Responsibilities:
- Support warehouse with all required information: packing lists, deliveries, inbound forecast
- Support the warehouse with arranging transport
- Arrange any required info for production: EAN codes, RRPs, packing requirements
- Other admin tasks [uploading Purchase Invoices, booking stock on Sage]
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a similar role
- Ideally, experience in sportswear
- Good Excel abilities
- Can-do attitude
- Target-focused team player
