Retail & Customer Service Assistant

Location: Various Dofos Store Locations (Leith, Stockbridge, Portobello,)
Salary: From £12.80 per hour
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, in-person, min 5 per week.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team member to join our pet retail stores. This is a hands-on, customer-focused role based across all Dofos locations in Edinburgh. You’ll be part of a passionate team that delivers excellent service while learning about pet care, nutrition, and retail operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Serving customers in-store with a friendly and helpful attitude
• Answering customer queries via phone
• Booking dog grooming appointments
• Advising customers on suitable dog apparel and fitting products
• Packing and dispatching online orders
• Processing incoming stock into the warehouse
• General shop maintenance including cleaning and restocking shelves

Requirements:

• Reliable and motivated with good communication skills
• Comfortable working across multiple store locations
• Passion for animals and retail service is a plus

Pay: £12.80-£13.00 per hour
