Time4AI is looking for an experienced, practical and supportive AI Employability & Confidence Tutor to deliver online programmes for unemployed adults who may be experiencing low confidence, mild/moderate anxiety, low mood, long-term unemployment, digital exclusion, poor job-search skills, employment gaps or fear of interviews.
This is not a clinical or counselling role. It is a structured employability, confidence and digital-skills tutoring role, using safe AI tools such as ChatGPT to help participants rebuild confidence, improve job-search skills and take practical steps towards work, training or education.
About the role:
You will deliver live online sessions as part of the Time4AI Work Confidence Pathway, including:
rebuilding confidence, routine and work-readiness
supporting CVs, applications and interview preparation
helping participants maintain momentum and progress into work or training
You will help learners use AI safely and practically to:
break job-search tasks into manageable steps
create or improve CVs
write covering letters and application statements
practise interview questions
explain employment gaps professionally
build routine and confidence
improve digital job-search skills
prepare employer emails and follow-up messages
create action plans for work, training or further support
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging online tutor-led sessions via Microsoft Teams or similar
Support learners who may be anxious, low in confidence or digitally excluded
Demonstrate safe and practical use of ChatGPT/AI tools
Help learners personalise AI-generated content so it is honest, accurate and employer-ready
Support CV writing, job applications, interview preparation and employer communication
Encourage participation without pressuring learners to disclose personal information
Monitor attendance, engagement and learner progress
Complete basic learner evidence, portfolios and outcome records
Follow safeguarding, data protection and AI safety procedures
Signpost learners appropriately where additional support is needed
Experience:
You should have experience in one or more of the following:
employability tutoring or employment support
adult education or community learning
digital skills delivery
CV writing, interview preparation or job-search coaching
supporting unemployed adults or disadvantaged learners
online teaching or group facilitation
working with learners who have low confidence, anxiety or barriers to employment
Skills:
Confident delivering live online sessions
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Practical understanding of employability support
Ability to use ChatGPT or willingness to learn quickly
Calm, encouraging and non-judgemental approach
Strong digital skills
Ability to support learners at different confidence levels
Good record-keeping and attention to detail
Understanding of safeguarding boundaries
Ability to keep the role non-clinical and focused on employability outcomes
Desirable:
Teaching, training or assessor qualification
IAG qualification or careers guidance experience
Mental health awareness training
Safeguarding training
Experience delivering DWP, adult skills, employability or welfare-to-work provision
Experience supporting learners with anxiety, low mood or long-term unemployment
Knowledge of Access to Work, reasonable adjustments and employment support services
