SHEQ Advisor Full Time

We are looking for a dedicated SHEQ Advisor to join a thriving business in Cardiff. This role is perfect for a safety professional currently working within a large practice who feels ready to take the lead, implement their own rhythm, and manage the health, safety, and environmental standards for a growing company.

You won’t be reinventing the wheel—we have a comprehensive library of templates and assessments ready to go. What we need is your energy, attention to detail, and the drive to manage it effectively.

Based in our Cardiff office with site visits as required, you will be the point of contact for all things safety and health. While predominantly office-based, you should be comfortable with occasional nights away to support our site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation: Prepare project-specific RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, and COSHH assessments using our existing libraries.
• Engagement: Deliver site-specific Toolbox Talks and meet with client H&S representatives.
• Compliance: Carry out site inspections, audits, and provide reactive responses/investigations for any incidents or near misses.
• Delivery: Support Project Managers and collate comprehensive O&M manuals to ensure smooth project handovers.

• Qualified: You hold a NEBOSH qualification (General or Construction).
• Ambitious: You likely have experience in a larger safety consultancy and are looking for a role with more autonomy and “ownership.”
• Local: Based in or around South Wales with a full UK driving licence.
