Senior Product Manager This is an initial 6 month fixed term contract opportunity for those based in the UK. There will be a requirement to be onsite 1 day a week in London initially. They define and execute product strategy, balancing high-level vision with hands-on operational execution. In a Product role at Nearform, you will be collaborating closely with stakeholders, engineers, and designers, to uncover and define requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs to shape the product roadmap. With a strong focus on strategy, communication, and delivery, you will guide teams in building impactful, scalable solutions that align with business goals and market demandsAbout the Senior Product Manager roleAs a Senior Product Manager you will be a strategic visionary who overviews the development and execution of complex digital products. You’ll collaborate closely with clients to define product vision, drive product strategy, Translate goals into actionable roadmaps, and oversee the entire product lifecycle. Based on client goals, you will lead complex products and/or a portfolio of products. However, as you’ll likely work on a variety of projects your responsibilities may also include:Translate business strategy into product strategy and execute to that strategy in the delivery phase with the engineering team[s]Collaborate with stakeholder to define the product roadmapLead the ideation, development, and launch of featuresDrive action throughout the organization to get products to marketPlan and carry out product launches, MVP and phased releasesProvide insight to stakeholders on the product, competitors, technical innovations and marketSupport a SaaS platform and 3rd party integrationsProvide product marketing with insights on key differentiators and messagesWrite requirements – typically as epics, features and user stories – including clear acceptance criteriaDefine and adhere to Definition of Ready and Definition of DoneSupport grooming and refinement ceremonies in collaboration with Tech Leads to ensure alignment on the requirements and to support the delivery goalsIdentify, document and communicate risks, changes or delays as soon as possibleManage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issuesParticipate in daily scrum meetings, planning, reviews, demos and retrospectivesCollaborating with client teams.What we are looking for in this personSignificant experience delivering at a Senior level, specialising in product ownership and management. Our Seniors typically have at least 6 years’ commercial experienceHands-on experience delivering products in an agile environment collaborating directly with engineers and designersExperience with early stage products, new product development, and product modernization from discovery to MVP launch, and beyond Proven ability to collaborate with with stakeholders from various levels, areas of the organisation, and with differing business goals to drive to successful roadmaps and releasesStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with product experience exercising mature judgmentThe ability to define and lead product discovery workshops to define customer journeys, deliver tangible roadmaps and prioritised backlog Understanding of product analytics and KPIs/OKRs, including test and learn and A/B testing methodologies Someone who focuses on business outcomes and not just the tactical outputs Excellent communication and collaboration skillsProfessional proficiency in EnglishOccasional travel in the UK or Ireland may be required for client meetings and workshops Benefits & PerksAnnual Company Bonus – We all help Nearform to hit company goals so we all receive a share of the profits on an annual basis in line with company performance.Work Remotely and Flexibly – We have a genuine dedication to work/life balance. This step helps us assess initial alignment.Product Interview (1 hour via Zoom)An in-depth discussion with up to two of our trained Product Management interviewers to find out more about your experience, your preferred ways of working, and how you would solve some problems our Senior Product Managers face when dealing with clients.Hiring Manager Interview (45 mins via Zoom)A conversation with a Hiring Manager focused on your approach to teamwork, client collaboration, and problem-solving in an enterprise engineering team setting.
