Senior Network Engineer Full Time

Opticore IT are currently searching for a Senior Network Engineer who is operating at a CCNP level with strong general routing and switching knowledge to come and join the team. You’ll join our excelling team, based in the London area.

This opportunity will have you working with a large broadcast media client across multiple projects on their corporate networks. This opportunity would suit a well rounded network engineer who is strong across routing/switching and firewalls.

What you’ll be doing:

• To support all the different corporate internal clients and develop solutions and resolve issues
• Provide engineering services to the ITV technology teams.
• Assist with strategy and architectural decision making.
• Provide technical domain expertise to network design authority as required.
• Identify potential issues or risks within the network estate, escalate for discussion, plan and implement remediation.
• Ensure best practice design standards are being adopted across the network estate highlighting any areas for potential improvement.

What you’ll bring:

• Operating at CCNP level with strong hands on knowledge of enterprise routing and switching.
• Working knowledge of firewalls including one of the following Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Fortinet.
• History of working on multiple project streams at once.
• Ability to work and communicate with stakeholders of all levels.
