Each design is then responsibly made by our family-run manufacturing partners, in the expert hands of three generations of artisan craftspeople. We’re looking for a Senior Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team, who will be accountable for leading the end to end merchandising process, managing stock for Retail and Wholesale channels, and maximising revenue and profit. This role is critical in driving product strategy, managing the product lifecycle, and collaborating cross functionally to ensure the commercial success of our collections across all channels. This position leads by example, acting as an ambassador for Radley, fostering a culture of passion and determination, and driving excellence across the Merchandising organisation.Key responsibilitiesDefine OTB parameters alongside Head of Merchandising, including sales, margin, inventory, stock turn and YE inventory targets for all channelsDevelopment and ownership of global inventory management activities, including ownership of WSSI and long range merchandising financial plans, ensuring optimal inventory and productivity Quantify seasonal buy volumes alongside Buying team to maximise sales and sell throughOwnership of line cards on core options, placing reorders to ensure never out of stockResponsible for ensuring allocating and re-balancing inventory to improve global sell through across all channelsAccountable for promotions, delist and markdown planning and forecasting, in line with OTB targets, together with regulating discounts by product Responsible for option plans, measuring performance against plan for each seasonAccountable for the 4YP inventory strategy across the full product life cycleCommunicate sales, inventory and margin forecasts to cross-functional partners and SLT, highlighting risks and opportunities and recommending in season/ pre season actionsCollaborate with Partnerships team and Buying to prepare seasonal assortmentsWorking closely with Partners on responsible inventory management in line with company and Partner targetsAnalyse order book performance vs plan, to ensure alignment with financial KPIssCoaching and developing a team of a Junior/ Assistant Merchandiser, and AllocatorProvide clear and effective support to both internal and external customers, addressing their needs and responding promptly.
