Senior Bookkeeper – UK VAT & Accounts

Full Time | Remote

We are a growing London based bookkeeping firm looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team on a full time remote basis.

This is a senior role suited to somebody with strong UK bookkeeping and VAT experience who is confident managing a substantial portfolio of VAT returns, reviewing work prepared by other team members, and supporting the ongoing growth of the team.

The role will include:

• Managing and preparing UK VAT returns
• Reviewing and checking VAT returns prepared by junior team members
• High level bookkeeping work for UK based clients
• Supporting and guiding other members of the bookkeeping team
• Helping improve internal systems and processes as the business grows

We are looking for somebody who:

• Has substantial experience with UK VAT and UK bookkeeping
• Ideally has experience both in practice and industry
• Has qualifications equivalent to AAT or similar
• Is highly organised and detail focused
• Is confident reviewing the work of others
• Has experience with software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.

Candidates do not need to be UK based, but must have strong practical experience with UK VAT and bookkeeping.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
