R&A aims to deliver well-balanced outcomes for ANZ, with a strong focus on customer delivery, proactive risk management and efficiency. The primary activities of the role include:Actively contribute across the end-to-end relationship credit management process covering origination, transaction structuring, risk grading, risk analysis and credit approval, documentation, portfolio monitoring, and specialised industry research.Preparation of quality credit papers with proper evaluation of risks and formulation of well-structured risk mitigation strategies, based on an understanding of customer’s capital and management structure, financial performance and industry trends. Consistently make sound, high quality credit recommendations and decisioning, based on thorough financial analysis and deep dive industry research.Provide timely and proactive, credit monitoring and maintaining a well-managed portfolio.Working with stakeholders across team including Relationship, Risk and Product Partners, throughout the Institutional network.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Strong experience in credit risk analysis or equivalent across Institutional and Large Corporate customers. Knowledge in banking products and loan structures, trade finance and global marketsSpecific industry (REI or FB&A) knowledge will be highly regarded.Highly motivated, self-directed team player with client focus, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal.Strategic mindset, highly commercial with a proven ability to balance risk/reward priorities.Values-based approach, aligned with ANZ’s Values and Behaviours, and skillset demonstrating proactive approach to learning. You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
