Security Operations Center Analyst Full Time

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst. The SOC Analyst will monitor and analyze security systems, investigate potential cyber threats, and collaborate with the team to ensure the safety of company and client data. Daily responsibilities include conducting cyber threat hunting and analysis, providing real-time threat intelligence, and responding to security incidents promptly. The role also entails proactively identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Cyber Threat Hunting (CTH) and Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) to detect, understand, and mitigate potential cyber risks proactively
• Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions regarding security threats
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or performing monitoring and incident response activities
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices with a focus on securing networks, infrastructures, and systems
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments and provide clear security recommendations
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and adapt to fast-paced conditions
