Pay: £16.55 per hour

Hours: Various: 4 on, 4 off, nights only

As a Security Officer Rover, you will play an important role in helping to keep one of the world’s largest global organisations safe and secure. Working across multiple client sites, you will carry out mobile patrols, searches, badge administration, and deliver consistently outstanding customer service to both the client and their employees.

Operating primarily via a company‑issued vehicle, you will provide rapid, professional security support across designated locations. As a Security Officer Rover, you will respond promptly to alarms, conduct scheduled and ad‑hoc patrols, complete perimeter and building checks, and support on‑site security teams as needed, ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets at all times.

Responsibilities

Job Description

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc mobile patrols across all our client’s sites within London
• Identify and report security risks, hazards or suspicious activity
• Ensure all vehicle patrols logs and reports are completed accurately and on time
• Respond promptly to alarm activations, including intruder, fire, panic and technical alarms in accordance with current SLA’s
• Assess the situation on arrival, secure the area and support local site security teams, ensuring correct escalations have been followed
• Maintain the security vehicles to a high standard, ensuring it is clean and roadworthy
• Support on-site security teams during high-risk or high-impact events

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A valid SIA licence
• Full manual driving licence
• Must have team leader/manager experience
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
