Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Seafood Sales role based in London, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Seafood Sales professional will build and maintain relationships with existing customers, manage regular orders, and follow up on inquiries by phone, email, and in person. They will prospect and onboard new business accounts, prepare quotes and pricing proposals, and provide product information, including seasonal availability and specifications. Daily tasks include coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries, tracking orders, and resolving any service issues. The role also involves monitoring market trends and competitor activity, maintaining up-to-date records in the CRM system, and supporting sales reporting and forecasting activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or wholesale distribution, ideally in seafood, food service, or FMCG.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities, with a customer-focused mindset.
• Comfort with basic sales tools and systems (e.g., CRM software, spreadsheets, email, and phone-based selling).
• Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Basic understanding of seafood products, quality standards, and cold-chain logistics, or willingness to learn quickly.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, collaborating with on-site teams in London and working independently from home when needed.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; additional language skills are an advantage.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom; a valid driver’s license is beneficial for customer visits.
