We’re looking for a Sales & Operations Associate to join our small but highly skilled and experienced team to continue KJ’s 60-year success story as a purveyor of high-end audio.
CLIENT EXPERIENCE & SERVICE
- Assist with product queries and provide clear, informed guidance
- Handle client concerns
SALES SUPPORT & TRANSACTIONS
- Operate the POS system for purchases, deposits,
and invoices
- Process card payments and maintain accurate paperwork
- Assist with quotes, orders, and follow-up communication
STOCK & INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
- Receive deliveries and check items against serial numbers
- Log stock movements accurately in CRM/inventory systems
- Restock accessories and products in the showroom
- Create regular inventory counts, including demo stock
- Coordinate with operations on repairs, returns, and warranty items
SHOWROOM STANDARDS & PRESENTATION
- Maintain an immaculate showroom environment
- Ensure listening rooms are tidy, functional, and ready for use
- Uphold KJ’s visual and experiential standards at all times
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Confident and comfortable talking to clients
- Curious about audio, music, or technology
- Reliable, organised, and good with details
- Comfortable using computers, POS systems, and basic software
- Able to lift and move boxes and equipment when needed
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
- Knowledge of hi-fi, music, and premium consumer electronics
- Ability to explain things simply and clearly
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong communication skills
- Good numeracy and literacy
- Previous customer-facing experience is a plus
COMPENSATION
A competitive base salary complemented by a clear, performance‑linked sales commission structure
