Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Regional Business Development Manager (North West) located in the Manchester area, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will oversee the growth and expansion within the North West region by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and maintaining consistent communication. Daily tasks include researching potential clients, creating tailored proposals, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customers receive comprehensive waste management and recycling solutions. The role also requires tracking and reporting on sales performance, market trends, and customer needs to maximize growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in sales, business development, and negotiating client contracts
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and networking skills
- Strong analytical abilities to research market trends and identify growth opportunities
- Experience in environmental services, waste management, or a related industry is advantageous
- Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools
- Problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the North West region
