An opportunity has arisen for an experienced bookkeeper to perform accurate and timely bookkeeping, including data entry, bank and account reconciliations, paying suppliers and financial statement preparation in a highly regarded ACCA accredited Accountancy Practice in Coventry.

Good IT skills will be required in order to operate a variety of accountancy software such as Xero, Sage and Quickbooks.

Duties will include dealing with a variety of clients in a range of businesses as well as communicating with HMRC if required. Excellent communication skills are essential both by telephone and email.

You will also be involved in the preparation, and submission, of VAT returns on a quarterly basis. 

Ideally you will have an AAT qualification or similar but QBE would be acceptable and preference will be given to candidates who have worked in an accountancy practice previously.

This is a full-time role within an office environment based in the Coventry area.
