Our client is a global biopharmaceutical company focused on developing therapies for patients with serious neurological, autoimmune, and rare diseases.
They are seeking a PV Scientist to review documents to make sure they are accurate, clear, and high quality. Support improvements to processes and help with other team activities like vendor and system support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check documents created by the team or external vendors to ensure:
- Data matches the original sources
- Writing is clear, correct, and follows style guidelines
- Give feedback to authors and suggest corrections
- Meet with authors when needed to discuss issues and next steps
- Review work done by vendors as part of quality oversight
- Help create training materials for staff and vendors
- Track and share common quality issues with the team
- Maintain templates, checklists, and training documents
- Support improvements to processes, tools, and systems
- Take part in cross-team projects when needed
- Handle basic admin tasks (e.g., updating spreadsheets, sharing results)
- Support other team activities beyond document review (e.g., vendor support, reports, SharePoint)
- Train new team members and vendors on quality standards
Key Requirements:
- Comfortable with medical terms and style guidelines
- Basic understanding of drug safety (pharmacovigilance) and clinical trials
- Ability to review and explain scientific/medical information clearly
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Strong organization and ability to manage priorities
- Proficient in tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in science or healthcare-related field
- 2–3 years of writing/editing experience (in pharma or biotech)
- Experience in drug safety, medical writing, or scientific editing is a plus
