We are a fast‑expanding group of nine companies based in Ipswich, founded in 1988 and continuing to grow year after year. We’re now looking for a Purchase Ledger Junior to join our friendly Accounts Team at Edison House. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their finance career.

Key responsibilities

·        Completing daily bank reconciliations

·        Inputting invoices into our in‑house database and accounts system

·        Handling purchase invoice queries

·        Reconciling supplier statements

·        Preparing supplier payment runs for authorisation

·        Updating internal reports

·        General filing and administrative duties

·        Supporting the wider accounts team with ad‑hoc tasks

Requirements

·        Strong numeracy and literacy skills

·        Good attention to detail and organisational ability

·        A flexible, team‑focused attitude

·        Reliable and eager to learn

·        Basic knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook (desirable)

·        GCSEs in English and Maths
