Project Coordinator, Medical Communications
As a Project Coordinator, Medical Communications at ICON, you will play a key role in supporting communication activities for a global biotech/pharmaceutical client. You’ll help ensure smooth coordination across teams, high‑quality content delivery, and effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate clear and timely communication between internal teams and external partners
- Organise and host monthly events and meetings
- Manage administrative tasks, including preparing speaker notes and liaising with key contributors
- Provide content support across communication materials
- Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Lead meeting logistics, including agenda planning and follow‑up actions
- Prepare monthly client reports and track project progress
Your Profile
You bring a solid foundation in medical communications and the confidence to work independently while supporting and guiding colleagues when needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or healthcare discipline
- Extensive experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and terminology
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
