Job Title: Product Procurement Engineer
Salary: £57,700 – £72,000 depending on experience
Contract: Full time & permanent
Location: Desford, Leicestershire
The Opportunity
As a Product Procurement Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role within Caterpillar, representing the Category and managing part sourcing, development and quality feedback loops across New Product Introduction (NPI), Continuous Product Improvement (CPI), and New Source Introduction (NSI). The role will require you to work closely with internal stakeholders from engineering, and procurement teams as well as directly communicate with our supply base. The role ensures our strategic direction is clearly documented ensuring parts are delivered with the right quality, total cost, and timing to support business and customer requirements.
As a Product Procurement Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
