A long-established and independent accountancy practice in West Dorset is continuing to grow and looking to expand its friendly accounts team. You’ll be joining a supportive, close-knit environment where professional development and work-life balance genuinely matter.
Your new role This is a varied accounts position that will be shaped around your experience and qualifications. Typical duties include:
- Preparing financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Bookkeeping using Sage, QuickBooks and client software
- Assisting with payroll where required
- Supporting with personal tax compliance
- General practice support as needed
What you’ll need to succeed
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- AAT qualified or AAT/ACCA part-qualified
- Confident using cloud and desktop accounting software
- Accurate, organised, and able to work well within a friendly, busy team
- A positive approach to learning and development
