Medical Education Fellow (x2 posts)We are seeking two motivated and enthusiastic Medical Education Fellows to join our dynamic Medical Education team. These roles offer an excellent opportunity to develop skills in medical education, leadership, and project delivery within a large, forward-thinking NHS Trust.As part of this fellowship, there will also be opportunities to contribute to a major North West London Acute Provider Group (APG) quality improvement programme focused on Infection Prevention & Control, Antimicrobial Stewardship and patient safety across four acute NHS trusts.Key Responsibilities Deliver and develop medical education programmes, including IMG induction, MRCP PACES teaching, simulation, and contributions to training pathways, health and wellbeing, leadership development, and educator workforce initiatives In collaboration, develop and refine portfolio pathways and explore wider training pathway opportunities Manage, analyse, and utilise programme data (e.g. HEAT or equivalent systems) to evaluate impact and inform continuous improvement Design, lead, and evaluate medical education projects, including stakeholder engagement, project delivery, data analysis, and dissemination through reports, presentations, and research outputs Contribute to quality assurance, governance, and workforce development, including participation in education committees, regulatory preparation, outreach activity, and wider organisational improvement initiativesWhat We OfferA supportive and experienced Medical Education team Opportunities to lead projects and contribute to innovative education initiatives Exposure to senior leadership and Trust-wide programmes Support for professional development in medical education, leadership, and quality improvement Opportunities to present work at conferences and contribute to publications We Are Looking For Individuals Who AreEnthusiastic about medical education and training Strong communicators with excellent organisational skills Interested in leadership, quality improvement, or workforce development Able to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams Additional InformationThese posts are ideal for doctors seeking an out-of-programme experience or fellowship year, with opportunities to build a strong portfolio in medical education, leadership, and project work.Fellows with an interest in infection prevention and control, patient safety, quality improvement, epidemiology, digital health or antimicrobial stewardship will have the opportunity to work with senior clinical leaders, contribute to cross-organisational improvement projects, and gain experience of system-wide transformation and collaborative working at scale.For an informal discussion and information regarding the post please contact:Daniel Dennis, Medical Education Manager: daniel.dennis1@nhs.netElizabeth Dick, Associate Director of Medical Education: elizabeth.dick1@nhs.netFor further details / informal visits contact: Name: Daniel Dennis Job title: Medical Education Manager Email address: daniel.dennis1@nhs.net
