As a Performance Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and performance of our cybersecurity managed services portfolio. You’ll partner closely with sales, service delivery & operational leads, and the finance team to provide accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and strong financial governance across a range of security-focused client engagements. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, technically complex environment where precision and proactive problem‑solving are essential.
Key accountabilites
1. Work closely with the teams focusing on commercial performance.
2. Provide timely information regarding commercial performance to key business stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with the business to monitor progress, opportunities and risks, and support decision‑making.
4. Provide financial insights to leadership on profitability, resource utilisation, and contract performance.
5. Support commercial teams during any contractual review.
6. Produce monthly financial reports, including variance analysis, and KPI dashboards. Making recommendations as appropriate.
7. Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and cybersecurity industry standards.
8. Support revenue recognition in line with accounting standards and company policy.
9. Assist with month‑end close activities.
10. Contribute to the enhancement of financial processes, tools, and reporting frameworks.
11. Help implement best practices for governance.
12. Identify opportunities to streamline workflows between finance and the rest of the business.
13. Communicate with external auditors, financial institutions and regulatory bodies.
14. Offer tailored financial advice and solutions to meet specific business needs, especially with regards to bid activity.
15. Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed.
Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial managers.
Essential skills, experience and qualifications
· ACCA/CIMA qualified
· Knowledge of financial tools
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Management and leadership skills
· Ability to work well in a team
· Proficiency with spreadsheet and accounting software programs
· Knowledge and experience of utilising Power BI and reporting tools
· Organisational skills
· Good personal interaction skills
