Application Deadline: 5 June 2026Department: People OperationsLocation: New York, New YorkCompensation: $67,500 – $80,000 / yearDescriptionWe’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to support recruiting, onboarding, and core People Ops processes as we continue to grow.This role is a chance to shape how we attract, hire, onboard, and support talent across the company, from interns through manager-level roles, while also partnering closely with the Director of People Operations to build thoughtful, efficient people processes. Recruiting, talent acquisition, onboarding, and People administration will be your primary focus, but your impact will extend across the full employee lifecycle.You will own full-cycle recruiting, help design and execute a best-in-class onboarding experience, and contribute to the systems, documentation, and workflows that support our growing team. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, brings both urgency and empathy to their work, and cares deeply about building a great employee experience from day one.Your work will directly influence our growth, culture, and operational excellence, and will play a meaningful role in shaping the future of Front Office Sports.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn full-cycle recruiting for roles across the company (intern to mid-level roles)Assist with sourcing, screening coordination, interview scheduling, and candidate communicationPartner with hiring managers to keep recruiting processes moving efficientlyHelp maintain applicant tracking systems and job postings across all systemsEnsure a strong candidate experience through timely communication and follow-upCoordinate onboarding logistics for new hires (schedules, materials, systems access)Help ensure new hires feel set up for success in their first 30–90 days and beyondPartner with People Ops lead on improving onboarding experience over time successAssist with day-to-day HR administrative tasks (PTO tracking, employee changes, offboarding)Help maintain accurate employee records and documentation across systemsHelp build and develop culture (in-person and remote), engagement, and employee experience initiativesSkills, Knowledge & Expertise1–3 years of experience in HR, recruiting, talent, or people operations experience; in media, entertainment, news, or sports is a plusExperience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environmentsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslySystems and process-oriented mindset with a desire to build scalable solutionsPassion for recruiting, onboarding, and creating exceptional employee experiencesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter who is comfortable taking ownership and working independently while collaborating closely with leadershipHigh attention to detail, reliability, and follow-throughInterested in building a career in People Operations or Human ResourcesComfortable working in-person 3 days per week in New York CityPerks & BenefitsGenerous PTO policy to use as you please, plus sick time and company holidaysEmployer-sponsored health benefits, including medical, dental, and visionAn annual professional development stipend and endless development opportunities at a growing startupPlan for your future with our 401(k) plan, complemented by a 3% company match.
