Royal Holloway, University of London is seeking a motivated and student-centred Peer Support Scheme Officer to help deliver and develop our University-wide Peer Support Scheme. This role sits at the heart of our work to support student transition, belonging and success, and forms part of our Access and Participation Plan.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a hands-on role in building a supportive, inclusive and connected student community, working closely with students, academic departments, professional services and the Students’ Union.
About The Role
As Peer Support Scheme Officer, you will coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the University’s Peer Support Scheme, ensuring it operates smoothly and consistently across the academic year. You will support departments in establishing and embedding peer mentoring activity, oversee student recruitment and matching processes, and provide training, guidance and ongoing support to student peer mentors.
You will also contribute to evaluating the impact of peer support activity, using student feedback and participation data to inform continuous improvement and reporting to internal stakeholders.
What You Will Be Doing
You will also support wider Student Engagement & Insights activity, including Welcome Week, RH100 and student surveys.
About You
You will bring strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting students and enhancing their experience at Royal Holloway.
You Will Have
Experience of peer mentoring schemes, student insight and evaluation, or engagement data systems would be an advantage, but is not essential.
