Duties (including but not limited to):

· Manage and monitor outstanding debt, ensuring timely collection of payments from clients.

· Conduct regular bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

· Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies promptly.

· Maintain up-to-date customer account information and liaise with clients regarding overdue balances.

· Post receipts, payments, and journal entries to the accounting system.

· Assist with preparing month-end reconciliations and financial reports.

· Support cashflow forecasting through accurate recording of transactions.

· Work with internal teams to resolve queries relating to accounts.

· Support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks as required.

Person Specification:

· 1 year plus previous experience in an accounts role (within credit control and/or bank reconciliations) is essential.

· QuickBooks / Acturis experience preferred

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Personable communication skills with a professional telephone manner (confidence picking up the phone essential).

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
