Job DescriptionThe Enterprise Technology Services organization partners with every part of the American Express business to power the company’s growth and innovation with trust and efficiency, and drive competitive differentiation with speed. We support the delivery and operations of technology, digital, and data capabilities, platforms, and services globally. Specifically, our team is responsible for the company’s technology engineering, architecture, and infrastructure, providing 24×7 support to ensure an uninterrupted, high-quality experience for customers and colleagues. We also provide product management for core enterprise platforms, and lead technology risk and information security, enterprise data governance and platforms, digital product and design, and enterprise AI platforms on behalf of the company.As a part of the Enterprise Digital team, you will be responsible for developing world class digital products, capabilities and marketing programs that support our global markets and help drive performance marketing growth.In the role of Paid Search Analyst, you will focus on biddable digital marketing channels and be responsible for managing sophisticated multi-market programs across EMEA and LACC markets. This team plays a significant part in delivering on revenue-driving business outcomes.ResponsibilitiesOwnership of multi-market prospect and customer facing campaigns on Paid Search Activate and manage Google and Microsoft Ads Paid Search campaigns for EMEA and LACC international markets against targets, maximizing net income delivered through the channelUse Paid Search bid management software (Search Ads 360) to centrally manage campaigns for several markets and ensure that tracking is set up correctly Work with the Performance Channel Manager and the Performance Channel Analytics team to create and implement data-led strategies for the international markets that deliver against the marketing plansCollate and distribute information for internal reportingPresent strategies and plans to internal stakeholders in the markets and other central teamsMonitor internal and external digital trends and technologies to continually improve the program and maintain competitive advantageWork with the analytics team on “test and learn” activities to innovate and establish best practices for the PPC activity across the international marketsBuilding and maintaining relationships with markets and supporting agencies QualificationsExperience managing Paid Search campaigns in-house or agency-sidePassion and willingness champion digital marketing within a large organisationA self-starter who owns their role and is able to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with solid organizational and time management skillsTrack record of delivery against goalsExperience of managing stakeholders in a matrix environmentExcellent oral and written communication skills including presenting to peers and senior management Bachelor’s degree or better in relevant area preferred but not essential2nd European language is a plusEmployment eligibility to work with American Express in the UK is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.About UsAt American Express, our culture is built on a 175-year history of innovation, shared values and Leadership Behaviors, and an unwavering commitment to back our customers, communities, and colleagues.
