Operations Graduate Full Time NEW

At Biffa, We’re looking for ambitious graduates to join Biffa as Operations Graduates, developing the skills and experience needed to progress into a Business Manager role.

This structured programme will give you hands-on exposure to managing people, resources, and client relationships—ensuring operations are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with financial targets and contractual requirements.

What you’ll gain:

What you’ll be doing:

As an Operations Graduate, you will rotate across key business areas, including:

• People Management Employment law, training, performance management, employee engagement, and communication.
• Safety Management Health & safety legislation, safe systems of work, investigations, and compliance.
• Finance Budget setting, invoicing, forecasting, cost tracking, and performance analysis.
• Logistics Vehicle planning, utilisation, and maintenance.
• Operations KPI tracking, productivity reviews, and service delivery standards.
• Contract & Client Management Understanding contracts, managing client relationships, identifying improvements, and delivering social value

What we’re looking for:

• A degree (or equivalent)
• Strong Excel & IT skills
• A proactive, can-do attitude
• Confidence communicating with stakeholders
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel (UK-wide, occasional overnight stays)
