BBCS Limited is a well-established, family-run business specialising in commercial catering equipment servicing, installation, and maintenance across the Midlands.
We work with a wide range of clients — from independent catering outlets to schools and NHS facilities — where responsiveness, reliability, and clear communication are essential.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a full-time Office & Service Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in supporting our day-to-day operations.
About the Role
This is a varied and hands-on position at the centre of our business operations.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating service activity, and acting as a key point of contact for customers and engineers. The role requires someone who can take ownership, stay organised under pressure, and ensure jobs are followed through to completion.
This position would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy, service-led environment and takes pride in delivering a high standard of customer support.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage incoming telephone calls, handling enquiries confidently and efficiently
– Oversee shared inboxes, ensuring timely and professional responses
– Coordinate service calls between customers, engineers, and suppliers
– Monitor job progress and ensure updates are communicated clearly
– Collate and review engineers’ reports using Adobe software
– Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
– Support scheduling and general office coordination
– Raising and issuing customer invoices
About You
We’re looking for someone reliable, organised, and confident dealing with people at all levels.
You’ll ideally have:
– Strong customer service experience and a professional, confident telephone manner
– Experience working in a busy office, coordination, or service-based role
– The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
– Good IT skills, including email, spreadsheets, and database systems
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
– A proactive, problem-solving approach
– A team-focused attitude and willingness to support colleagues where needed
Previous experience in a service coordination, engineering support, or customer-facing role (e.g. maintenance, facilities, or engineering environments) would be highly advantageous.
Hours & Benefits
– Full-time, Monday to Friday
– Working hours typically 8:30am – 4:30pm
