Office Administrator
LBP Bakeries is a leading supplier of high-quality frozen bakery goods to the foodservice and retail industry. We’re a small, close-knit and growing team delivering to customers across the UK six days a week. We pride ourselves on quality, reliability and a supportive working culture.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and organised Office Administrator to join our logistics team. This is a varied role working closely with the Transport Manager, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day running of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide general administrative support across fleet and office operations, including compliance, parking fines, staff rotas and uniform coordination
· Manage cash handling and associated documentation
· Plan and coordinate daily transport routes for optimal efficiency
· Maintain vehicle records, including service reports and maintenance scheduling
· Manage driver queries and resolve delivery-related issues
· Provide cover for the Transport Manager when required
· Support varied shift operations and adapt to changing schedules
· Assist with ad hoc administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
· Flexible and adaptable approach to a varied workload
· Must be able to work Sundays (Sunday-Thursday working pattern)
Interview Process:
· Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete an Excel assessment as part of the interview process

Salary: £27,500
Location: Thurrock (on-site)
Contract type: Full time, Permanent
Working days: Sunday-Thursday
Initial training will be conducted Monday-Friday. Upon successful completion, the role will transition to a Sunday-Thursday schedule.
