Swift Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Putney to recruit a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher for a September 2026 start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Early Years specialist who is committed to providing a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.
The Role
You will take responsibility for a vibrant nursery class, delivering high-quality teaching aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The successful candidate will create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring setting that supports children’s development across all areas of learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, play-based learning experiences
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Monitor and assess progress in line with EYFS standards
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative school culture
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within Early Years (Nursery or Reception)
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A warm, caring, and patient approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
