Job Introduction
We are looking to recruit a Band 4 Neurodevelopmental Support Practitioner to join the West Essex Journey of Autism Diagnosis and Early Support (JADES) Team, supporting children, young people and their families across the neurodevelopmental pathway.
This is a key role that provides early, proactive and ongoing support to families while they are awaiting assessment or following referral outcomes. The post holder acts as a care navigator and first point of contact, offering structured telephone‑based support, facilitating face to face drop‑in and follow‑up clinics, and ensuring families receive clear, compassionate communication during what can be a challenging and uncertain time.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop experience within a truly multidisciplinary environment, working alongside professionals from a wide range of disciplines including paediatrics, nursing, therapies, and psychology.
