We’re here to help!Role Overview And PurposeTo efficiently manage and support a team of engineers of all disciplines on a day to day basis, ensuring consistent operational delivery through smart working and the efficient execution of their day to day tasks. Key mobile support to Contract Manager. To liaise with the Contract Support and Contract Management Teams to provide excellent service delivery to our customers.Key Responsibilities To advise and provide assistance to our engineers on any technical matters Support the contracts on both reactive and planned maintenance work To improve service delivery performance and reduce costs where possible To engage with the customer and interact as an ambassador of ABMs in a professional manner To ensure SLA and KPI’s are achieved by our engineers in line with our contracts To ensure all statutory PPMs and activities are carried out on time Working alongside the Helpdesk Team, assisting with Labour resource and technical issues or queries, attending the office at least 1 day per week To undertake HR process such as informal and, formal discussions, investigation meetings and any other HR related issues as required To carry out operational inductions for new starters To carry out engineer audits which would include PPE, vehicles, tools, ladders and Tool Box Talks To manage all aspects of H&S in relation to all works from planning to completion, includingRA&MS COSHH, etc. Put together quotations and issue to the customer Supervise quoted and reactive works Supervise Sub-Contractors, and direct engineering staff To support the Contract Management Teams in engineering service delivery Site log books to be maintained; site safety compliance and documents updated On call rota cover as requiredRequired Skills And Experience Experience with training and supervising engineers Good IT skills – Intermediate level, excel, word, power point Excellent communication skills Good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace Good understanding of M&E Building Services City & Guilds Technical qualifications – Combustion / Electrical / HVAC / MechanicalBenefitsWe’re proud to offer a great range of benefits including:24/7 GP: Both you and your immediate family can speak to a UK-based GP from the comfort of your own homeMental Health support and Life Event Counseling Get Fit ProgrammeFinancial and legal support Cycle to work schemeAccess Perks at Work, our innovative employee app where you can find:Perks: discounts, gift cards, cashback, and exclusive offersLife: Search for resources and tools on topics ranging from family and life to health, money and workSupport: Online chat or telephone service for urgent support in a crisisFor more information about ABM’s benefits, visit our careers pageAbout UsABM is one of the world’s largest providers of integrated facility services.
