Permanent contract.Salary£32,073 – £39,043 per annum.Job OverviewWe are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our Gastroenterology team, supporting ward‑based clinical pharmacy services, medicines optimisation and home‑care aspects.Key ResponsibilitiesMedicines reconciliation for patients. Support ward‑based dispensing and medicines optimisation. Assist in processing home‑care prescriptions for high‑cost medications. Review ward stock lists and ensure safe, cost‑effective use of medications. Participate in audits, including Safe & Secure Storage of Medicines and Controlled Drug audits. Contribute to education and training of pharmacy staff and multidisciplinary teams. Engage in continuous two‑way information exchange with the Pharmacy department and directorate team.Qualifications & ExperienceQualified Pharmacy Technician with NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Science. Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Accreditation in Medicines Management or Accuracy Checking (or both). Demonstrable written and verbal communication skills. Time‑management and organisational skills. Enthusiastic, adaptable, flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team, and under pressure. Experience of a near‑patient ward‑based medicines management service.#J-18808-Ljbffr
