Grow with a Family-Owned practice.This Friendly Chartham based local surgery has proudly operated for over 30 years, delivering patient-first healthcare across the local area.As a trusted, values-driven private business, we are now seeking a motivated and experienced Practice Manager to lead operations here in Chartham.About the Role:This full-time role (approx. 38 hours/week) is pivotal to ensuring the smooth, efficient and high-quality running of our medical center. You’ll play a leadership role in managing people, systems and service delivery while helping grow the clinic as a trusted health hub in the community.Key ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day management of clinic operations and staffCoordinating doctors’ schedules, nursing support and reception workflowsFinancial oversight, including billing, banking and monthly reportingStaff rostering, recruitment and performance leadershipManaging quality improvement initiatives and accreditation readinessEnsuring compliance, workplace health and safety and privacy standardsRepresenting the clinic professionally as its public-facing leaderAbout YouWe are seeking a confident, organised and community-focused leader with:Essential:Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar management role (health or medical field preferred)Proven team leadership and HR management skillsStrong interpersonal and conflict resolution skillsHigh-level communication (written and verbal)Strong problem-solving ability and organisational skillsComputer literacy, including MS OfficeDesirable:A current driver’s licence (for occasional travel and training)Employer questionsYour application will include the following questions:Do you have at least 3 years’ experience in a management role?Do you live in the local area?Do you have experience managing staff, rostering and operations?Are you able to travel between clinics if required?What is your earliest available start date?
