Materials Engineer (Remote) Full Time

Role Overview:

One of our client is hiring Engineering Experts to teach AI how to interpret and solve complex technical problems. As a domain expert, you will create rigorous technical prompts, evaluate model responses for engineering accuracy, and ensure frontier AI adheres to the highest standards of technical reasoning — all on a fully remote, flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assess the factuality and relevance of domain-specific text produced by AI models
2. Craft challenging technical prompts and write expert-level answers in Electrical Engineering
3. Evaluate and rank domain-specific responses generated by AI models for accuracy
4. Review and correct AI-generated chains of thought for technical correctness
5. Provide clear, precise written feedback on engineering reasoning and methodology
6. Collaborate with the expert community to maintain quality standards

Required Skills:

1. Ability to write clearly and precisely about engineering concepts in fluent English
2. Strong analytical reasoning and rigorous attention to technical detail
3. Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment

Required Qualifications:

1. Education in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Aerospace, Materials Science, Biomedical, Nuclear, or Engineering Physics
2. Experience working as a practicing engineer, researcher, or in a comparable highly technical/analytical role

Compensation

• Earn up to $150 USD/hr
• Payments issued weekly via supported payout platforms (e.g., PayPal or AirTM)
