Marketing and Social Media Executive Full Time

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, organised, and proactive Marketing & Social Media Executive to support both Little Red Rooster’s marketing and selected clients’ social media activity. This varied role combines content creation, social media management, marketing support, and new business activity.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, full of ideas, and confident managing multiple projects at once. They should be comfortable creating content, writing copy, managing social media channels, and supporting the wider team with marketing and new business activity. Experience managing and maintaining website content is crucial.

This role is perfect for someone looking to build a career in marketing, social media, and PR within a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, development, and delivery of Little Red Rooster’s marketing activities across all channels, including social media, website, newsletters, case studies, award entries, and internal communications.
• Create engaging content for agency and client platforms, including copywriting, visual content, and short- and long-form videos for social media, the website, and new business outreach.
• Manage day-to-day website operations, ensuring all content, team pages, and case studies are up to date and optimised for performance.
• Plan, schedule, and post social media content across client and agency channels, monitor engagement, track performance metrics, and research trends and content ideas to drive stronger results.
• Support new business activities, including research, proposal preparation, pitch materials, and maintenance of marketing and image libraries.
• Assist with agency and team events, award submissions, internal communications, and general marketing administration.
• Deliver monthly marketing reports with insights and recommendations to enhance engagement and reach across key channels.

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience in marketing, social media, PR, or communications.
• Experience managing a website platform such as WordPress (or similar).
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Creative and confident generating content ideas.
• Comfortable using social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Experience using Canva or similar design tools.
• Comfortable using ESP platforms such as Mailchimp.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Positive, proactive, and willing to learn.
