Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to work on a contractual basis. This person will be responsible for managing financial data, preparing reports, and analyzing financial performance on a day-to-day basis, within the finance industry. The Assistant Management Accountant will play a crucial role in providing financial insights to support business decisions, ensuring the company’s financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Assistant Management Accountant will prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

• They will analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to management to improve financial performance.

• The Assistant Management Accountant will assist in budgeting and forecasting, including preparing financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.

• They will ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies, including maintaining accurate and complete financial records and preparing for audits.

• The Assistant Management Accountant will collaborate with other departments, such as operations and sales, to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and standards.

• They will have experience with financial software and systems, including accounting and financial planning systems, and be able to analyze and interpret complex financial data.

• The Assistant Management Accountant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders and build strong relationships with colleagues and management.

• They will be detail-oriented and organized, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
