Contract Opportunity – M365 Engineer (Copilot)

📍 5 Days Onsite

💼 Inside IR35 – £650 per day

📅 Contract until the end of December

We’re hiring an experienced M365 Engineer to lead the design, engineering, and evolution of a large-scale Microsoft 365 environment, with a strong focus on Microsoft Copilot readiness and AI-driven collaboration.

This is a key technical leadership role within a Messaging & Collaboration team, where you’ll drive architecture, standards, and delivery across the M365 ecosystem.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the SME for Microsoft 365 messaging & collaboration services
• Lead solutions across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive & Intune
• Drive Microsoft Copilot deployment, governance & optimisation
• Partner with Security & Compliance teams to ensure secure AI adoption
• Own engineering standards, technical documentation & operational excellence
• Provide 3rd/4th line escalation support and lead complex troubleshooting
• Influence platform strategy, roadmap, and architectural decisions

✅ Essential Experience:

• 5–10+ years in enterprise IT / M365 engineering roles
• Experience of implementing Microsoft Copilot
• Strong experience with Exchange Online, M365, Intune & Hybrid environments
• Expertise in M365 security, compliance & governance
• Hands-on PowerShell scripting and automation experience
• Proven ability to operate as a technical authority in complex environments

⭐ Desirable:

• Financial services or regulated industry experience
• Knowledge of Defender for O365, Purview, EOP, Proofpoint or Forcepoint
• Intune / Endpoint Manager and SharePoint governance expertise
• Understanding of Zero Trust security principles
