By providing practical support and guidance, libraries play a critical role in enabling and empowering people to realise their potential, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
What is the job role?
This is a Library Assistant post, working on a casual basis (as and when required) to provide cover for the front-line library service.
We are looking for someone to join our team as a Library and Information Assistant Relief Register (casual hours) to support the work of Coventry Library Service by providing a safe, welcoming space for visitors to relax, read, learn, use computers, and attend and participate in on-site or online events.
In your role, you will ensure a good visitor experience and provide information and signposting.
